"We stayed 3 nights from Wednesday to Friday in late April. We booked through Expedia, but on arrival were advised that we had no reservation! On further checking we were told they had charged us for a no-show on the previous night? While I was talking with the Expedia help line, the hotel staff found their booking system had failed, and they had charged us for an earlier cancelled booking. They sorted it out, but it caused us concern and detracted from our arrival experience. We had a double room in the “new” wing on the 5th floor. It was very nice, and came with a small balcony and chairs. The bathroom was nice also, with a very large tub. The beds were great. The floor housekeeping staff were outstanding! We used the hot spring pools and they were great. FYI the men’s change room is fairly small, with only two shower stalls. Overall we had a nice stay. The hotel is showing it’s age but is well maintained. We didn’t eat at the hotel. The rooms, with pool access included, do cost a premium price. We splurged to stay there this time, but would probably pick a lesser cost hotel in future."

"Check in staff gave wrong information, said it would be easier to unload bags after parking at the back, we regretted listening to him, it was horrible dragging all our luggage’s across uneven pavement at night to find back door after check in. Underground parking was full too. "

"Clean room except for the bath tub plug didn’t work and the door squeaked quite loudly. The check in staff were excellent and friendly. Ample parking a we felt we were in a safe area. Breakfast was very satisfactory and the lady that looked after it was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. "

"When I’m in Harrison Hot Springs , I always book at The Spa Motel. Note The Basecamp is a great place for breakfast. Good prices and friendly staff"

"This was an amazing stay for the kind of gateway I was looking for. There’s lots of parking spots and easy to navigate. The room had a good balcony lake view, kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker with coffee/tea pods and cutlery. The room is nice and cosy with just one cosy chair though. The bed was comfy although the comforter and pillows smelled not so good; The odour felt like the beddings had been re-used and hadn’t been washed from previous stays. The bathroom grout was actually not so clean and just pouring water down the walls I could see dirt sweeping off. Plastic Shower curtain could use a good wash too. Otherwise generally I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely revisit again! Hope next time the bathroom is cleaner and beddings too! :-)"
