"The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! "

"This was a lovely experience from check in to check out.
Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient.
Facility was spotlessly clean and room was spacious with a great layout for both sleeping and comfortable lounging. The location was ideal to visit Mystic seaport, aquarium and the downtown shops and restaurants. We’ll be back!"
"This place was a 12/10. A cute little inn right in downtown Mystic that was walkable to anything you could possibly need. The staff was great at both the inn and the attached restaurant, The Shipwright's Daughter. The building we stayed in did have musty smelling carpet in the hallways, uneven floors, and we had to climb the stairs to our room, none of which bothered us but could be a potential deal-breaker for some. We would definitely consider staying here again if we make it back up to Mystic. Whilst this review is for the inn itself, I can't say enough good things about Mystic. My husband and I loved everything about it. "
"This was a pleasant surprise! While the Hampton Inns are far from “luxury“ hotels, I have been in luxury hotels that were nowhere near as accommodating and as comfortable as this Hampton Inn! Every amenity thought of and appreciated!"
