"The design of the renovation is great, but it's not 100% practical. The shower 'half-door' results in water going onto the bathroom floor. Also the steam from the shower set off an internal (smoke?) alarm. I reported both to the front desk and was told they've heard it more than once. The staff was very friendly, the bed comfortable. The retro look of the place is great. No microwaves in the room if that matters to you and no restaurant on the property (though several places close by)."
