Power went out multiple times during my stay. The furniture has chipped paint. I stepped on a pin in the carpet. Almost broke my neck stepping on a floor mat on the inside of the unit for there’s no non slip bottom to it when it’s on tile. Also no extra lock on the door. I felt very unsafe with the power going out and I couldn’t lock the door

Good price and a decent stay.
It was by and large a nice stay. The toaster burnt out and the wash machine in the laundry room was full of water and was not operational. These things are to be expected during off season. The suite was spacious, the bathroom was too. The kitchen was well appointed.

Very convenient to the ferry and restaurants. The very first thought we had when we opened the door to our unit was that it had an unusual smell. It was hard to place but we’re pretty sure it was coming from the carpeting. The unit just has a general feel and appearance of being well used.

The villas were impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could desire. The attention to detail in every room was evident, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The layout of the villas was generous, providing ample space for relaxation and enjoyment. Whether lounging in the living area or savoring a meal on the private balcony, there was no shortage of comfortable spaces to unwind. The staff at The Villas at Hatteras Landing were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Their commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction, making me feel welcomed and valued. Situated in the heart of Hatteras Village, The Villas offer easy access to a variety of restaurants, shops, and local attractions. It was the perfect home base for exploring the unique charm of the Outer Banks.

If you are relying on the ferry to get you there, be aware that the checkk-in cutoff is 8:00 PM, we missed this and had to find another place to stay. I most probably will not consider any more places like this and stick to traditional hotels going forward.

The only issue I had with this property was use of the televisions. Both of them needed to have a user name and password entered. Although that sounds simple, I did not find it a simple task on these TV's.

Reasonable amenities. NOISY dehumidifier.
Reasonably outfitted for a rental condo. But we arrived on a Sunday evening about 6:00, and couldn't find normal broadcast channels to watch NFL games on either of the 2 TVs. The guest directory was no help, and there was no one to answer the 800 number. When I asked for help on Monday morning, the woman at the desk was no help either. Aside from Sunday night, we weren't there to watch TV, so we didn't pursue it. The dehumidifier was LOUD - we turned it off whenever we were in the room where it was located. And the AC in the bedroom ran non-stop, even though it was only 80 outside and set for 72. Will probably look for a different place if we're back, but location was good and parking was easy.

The rooms were very spacious and the sofa and chairs were very comfortable. Great location, less than 10 minutes away from Frisco Beach, this was very convenient.

The property at Hatteras Landing is run down and poorly maintained. Outside many shake shingles were missing, rust on rails, paint missing or peeling. Our unit had such a strong mildew smell we could barely stand it. If we could have gotten in touch with anyone to fix this or get a refund we would have, but there is no one on site.

Great location, we had a bay view with beautiful sunsets. Over the accommodations we’re nice. Except for the Very strong mildew Odor and very dirty shower curtain. We used the fold out couch bed but found cereal in there and the mattress on it was really gross and needs to be replaced. We needed to have at least 2 sets of towels and wash clothes for each person especially for a weeks stay.

Condo was very nicely remodeled and clean. The pool was nice. Quiet area. Staff was great. The restaurants around the condo have shortened hours so would recommend to plan accordingly. Great stay and highly recommended!

AC didn’t work properly. They replaced with a different unit which was no better…LOUD! Room Was damp and smelled of mildew. Pool area was “tired.” Lounge chairs were mildewed. Pool ladder was broken and had caution tape around it. This use to be a very nice Holiday Inn. The facility is dated and needs a face lift. For the price we paid we will stay somewhere else next time.

Good stay overall, clean and comfortable. The trash was full in the bathroom when we got there and we did not have soap in the dispenser. I told the guy at the office and they never got back to us with the soap. We also did not have the list with directions in the unit, we usually find one in this kind of places; he was not very nice when I asked about it. He said it s in our unit, laminated, but it was not. He acted like we were bothering him. I wish he would be friendlier with guests. We asked nicely about things, we did not complain. We would go back, definitely. The soap, the list and trash was something small. The area is gorgeous. The unit was clean and well equiped. Musty smell inside. Overall very pleased, the negatives were too small when compared with the positives! Book this place, great location and great views! Lots to do. Comfortable beds, clean and big pool. It was our first time in Hatteras and we enjoyed it! We will go back. Great communication with the owners via email, we received all the info we needed. Again, the guy at the office could be friendlier when guests talk to him. But, we all have our days...

Check in was easy and the rooms were nice. Easy access to the beach. Quiet and relaxing at night. Didn’t like the fact that we had to ask for bed linens for the pull out couch.
