"We stayed for 9 nights and 10 days. Like many hotels in Waikiki, this property is older and definitely showing its age, but the staff truly made the experience better. Everyone was wonderful, friendly, and very attentive. Anytime we needed something for the room, like extra towels or a new TV remote, it arrived quickly. The hotel has a nice Hawaiian charm with the open-air lobby and hallways, which gave it a relaxed island feel. Check-in was fast and easy, which was appreciated after a long day of traveling. When we first got to our room, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. Housekeeping clearly does a good job. Unfortunately, the room itself was very outdated and in need of renovation. The wallpaper was peeling in some areas, the dresser was missing a handle, and the bathtub was extremely small and visibly stained. It worked fine, but it definitely looked like it needed to be replaced. The bathroom vanity was difficult to use because the lighting was so dark. A lighted mirror would make a huge difference, especially for putting on makeup. The room also did not have a full-length mirror, which would have been helpful during a longer stay. The beds were okay but a little too springy for our liking. On the positive side, the sheets and blankets were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well, which made the room comfortable after being outside in the heat. Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff was excellent, but the property is overdue for updates"

"The good: Great location with just a walk across the street to the beach (yes they supply the chairs). 5 - 20 min walks to shopping (Target to H&M to Fendi) The staff is super friendly. The bad: unfortunately, the hotel is being renovated but they keep the renovations neat and out of the guests way and it didn't effect the pool, restaurants or stores. The really bad: if you want quiet get a high room it's super noisy some nights. Also we had issues with the hot water, not getting hot for 10minutes or the temperature fluctuating while showering."

"Can't see paying for 2 bottles water,and coffee. Especially pool area hard for handicapped/disabled person.also paying for parking slot when don't have vehicle. Plus paying for extra person that not with you. ( that about $30 to $70 a day) paying for nothing."
