"Really enjoyed our recent stay here at the Pack Horse Inn. Staff were very accommodating with an excellent evening meal, great drinks selection and a delicious cooked breakfast. The room was well appointed and clean. Perfect for a stay after a long walk in the Peak. "

"Room was fine, except for designer dismal decor - bathroom especially dark. Lack of facilities that would be simple to install such as towel rail in bathroom, better room lighting, hooks to hang coats. Staff pleasant and helpful. Checking in on screen seemed unnecessarily complex. "

"The staff were very good. the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC. I just needed a bed to sleep in so was adequate for my needs. if you want a budget friendly hotel to stay in before heading to Manchester airport which is less than 10 minutes away this is the hotel for you. There is free wi fi but I did find it kept dropping the connection every 30 - 50 mins. there is on site paid parking at very reasonable priced, I stayed for 3 nights in the end and total of £21."
