A great hideaway

Very welcoming. Booked a restaurant reservation for me, good recommendation. Superb breakfast, very friendly staff. Comfortable room, nice grounds, very quiet and secluded. Would stay again.

Pareltje vlak bij Krugerpark

Na een dag KRUGER een mooi afgelegen plek in de natuur, net buiten Hazyview. Alsof je op een plantage / bos zit met mooie ruime kamers. Restaurant is prima in orde met een dagmenu als diner en een Engels ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel.

Good start point for Kruger N.P.

The lodge is simple, but very nice, full immersed in the nature. It's a safe place , with guardians and fences all around. The road to go there is very bumpy but if you go to Kruger park you sure have rented a Suv! The rooms are simple and big but clean and with all you need. The strong aspect of the lodge is the marvelous staff! All of them are extremely nice , kind and caring. Gideon will also help you a lot to organize your trip to Kruger or in the surroundings. I recommend to stay there for dinner...delicious!

Altes verkommendes Badezimmer

Abends angereist. Check in wurde ständig unterbrochen, da scheinbar nur eine Mitarbeiterin dafür zuständig ist und diese permanent an das Handy ging. Haben ein Zimmer mit laweder Außentür und gerissener Scheibe, welche nicht sicher schien vorgefunden. Danach wurden wir von dem veraltetem Bad mit verrosteter Badewanne sowie verschimmelter Wand und Fugen überrascht. Grundsauberkeit war vorhanden. Der Nachttisch (Regalbrett an der Wand) war nicht benutzbar, da schief und unbefestigt. Zum Glück hatten wir nur einen sehr kurzen Aufenthalt (abends angereist und früh zeitig wieder abgereist). Positiv ist die Nähe zum Krüger NP.

Ensemble un peu décevant par rapport aux photos sur le site, mais la chambre était correcte, sauf l'isolation phonique avec la chambre voisine pas très bonne. Accueil chaleureux, bon diner et petit déjeuner parfait.

Lovely Hotel - Great location - Friendly people

We had a great stay at Gecko lodge and were pleasantly surprised. I was worried about booking activities however when I arrived I was greeted by the owners immediately and they offered advice and booked for us. The location is right by Kruger Park and there are lots of activities in the surrounding area. We had a great BBQ dinner with an African dance performance that was so fun and breakfast every morning was 5 star! Highly recommend

הפתעה נהדרת

המלון ממוקם בתוך ההר, דרך עפר מאוד לכ מבטיחה מובילה אליו, אולם ברגע שהגענו, הגענו לגנעדן. החדר היה נעים ונח, בעלת המלון מאוד ידידותית וארוחת הבוקר הכלולה בחדר האוכל המוסק באח הייתה נהדרת. הערה אחת- להוסיף תאורה בחדרים, מעט חשוך.
