Stuck in Denali NP due to bear activity in the campground, we were forced to look for accommodations. Labor Day weekend had most rooms booked, but we found one room available at Denali Park.
Unfortunately, we didn't have a vehicle, as we'd taken Alaska Railway to the Park, and there's no public transportation in the area. We ended up spending $100 on a shuttle to travel the 12 miles or so between the Park and the hotel.
The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea were available in the small lobby, the room was acceptably clean, had a small refrigerator and a microwave, and was quite quiet.
Without any nearby services, make sure you bring everything you need to the facility.
I'd stay here again in a pinch, but would first look for more convenient locations. If you are driving, Denali Park Hotel could work very well.
