I didn't like being yelled at by the person on reception because I apparently entered the reception area when I wasn't supposed to. In most hotels you approach the reception desk and wait your turn.

Up-to-date facilities, good breakfast, helpful service, and a very clean room. It's a little noisy near the train tracks, and the walls aren't extremely sound-proof, but otherwise everything was very comfortable.

Very handy for travelers

The twin room was surprisingly large for Europe with 2 (!) suitcase stands! Thank you! No air conditioning in this unusual heat wave but a fan was provided along with outside window coverings. Very close to the tram. A bit of a hike to the station while dragging a suitcase. No coffee or kettle in the room. The 7€ breakfast was very good and very convenient. They kindly stored my bags for free after check out.

Amanda the Queen of Customer Service Exists here

Walking distance to the train station. Nice place, everything you would expect EXCEPT Amanda at the front desk was truly amazing. She gave great directions and advice. Sold me a boat ride, I left my wallet and charge card behind. Frantic - no money no credit cards without it. I called and sure enough she saw where I left it. Offered to take the train to my location after they closed, but I got there in time. When I got to the boat they didn't find me and no English. So I called Amanda and she spent 10 minutes talking to them for me. She took a nightmare situation and made me feel comfortable. Thank you Amanda, the friendliest Germany I've found. Ed

Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Super Zimmer mit starkem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett gemütlich. Bei einem Check-In nach 20h muss man sich telefonisch anmelden und bekommt einen Code - das hat reibungslos funktioniert. Einzig die Parkplatzsituation war nicht so toll. Die Plätze hinter dem Hotel kosten (anders als es in der Beschreibung von hotels.com steht) und sind genauso beliebt wie die umliegenden öffentlichen Plätze. Wer gut in der Nähe essen möchte, sollte zum Heid's gehen :)

Das Hotel ist für ein paar Tage in Ordnung, komme auch gerne wieder. Was stört ist ein Zimmer zur Straße, wegen dem Straßenlärm. Schlafen kann man da nur bei geschlossenem Fenster . Frühstück und sonst alles gut.
