Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Room comfort
Breakfast was great and transport connection spot on how ever the room it self was very small
Enjoyed my two week stay at Scandic Kallio. Staff was highlight: Smiling Alyssa in the breakfast room along with great colleagues; Mark, Asa, and the cleaning crew were great and helpful: Front desk all friendly and professional.
Enjoyed sauna, good ac on hot days. Will return!
Good value. Basic hotel.but comfortable and clean. Good service; no problems. Red haired lady on the front desk was very helpful. Probably will stay here sgain on my way back through Helsinki.
Was a nice hotel, great breakfast options, quiet.
Lot of groups of ‘homeless’ individuals & saw people taking drugs on the corner. Didn’t feel overly safe in some areas
The room was clean and peaceful. The breakfast was awesome. Background music at the breakfast was very fitting, mellow and not loud.
The waitress didn't speak Finnish, and not too well English either, which was a minus.
Staff was outstanding, both personable and helpful. And the breakfast layout and food quality was very good. Room was small but clean and in very good condition. I am a walker and got to city center easily that way, though trams went right by the hotel, and Uber made a very quick pickup when I used it to get to the airport. The only thing that I would have liked otherwise is a gym.
Dodgy entry from outside.
Some personnel were nice but perhaps not full aware of a room is for example quiet or not. The last person when we left the hotel was not helpful or nice. I asked if I could use a toilet and got a negative which can be ok but her way was edgy and sharp. I then stood there and had to bring up her attention to be able to take our luggage from the room next to reception. Not even a good bye we received after we took them and said thanks and good bye.
The hotel is tight all around but it was clean and the rooms quiet. Breakfast was good too.
We stayed for 3 nights 2 person. Breakfast and staff was perfect. Near to tram. that you can reach the center in 15 min. Every thing was perfect thanks.
When visiting Linnanmäki, this place is excellent value for money! Five-ten minute walk from here, you will find the lovely amusement park
The breakfast buffet area isn't the biggest, so finding a spot for more than just a few persons can be tricky
The room was very clean, the staff was kind and helpful, and the hotel was very accessible to the public transportation. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.
