We had a lovely stay at this charming inn. It is not "pristine" as the main part of the inn is very old... but therein lies its character and charm. The inn and its grounds are lovely and the large window in our room provided a gorgeous view of sunrise over the mountains. Very convenient to Hendersonville with plenty of restaurants and cute shops. But there are so many great spots at the inn - both inside and outside - I equally enjoyed time just reading a book and enjoying the views.

Too Far Out of the Way and Not Worth it
Not a pleasant stay. The bed was so soft the sheets kept popping off at the corners while we slept. Only 1 plug in the room, "free" breakfast was empty of most foods both mornings. On the second day we searched for someone but couldn't find anyone but a rude kitchen worker. I would not recommend staying here.

Mark, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. We make breakfast fresh, so we're constantly refilling so we don't run out of food. We also have 4 people working every morning, I'm sorry you weren't able to find someone. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your experiences in Hendersonville.

Everything was as described. Excellent. This place has a Old World charm.. One of the best Bed & Breakfast place we have stayed. The grounds where beautiful, staff exceeded your expectations. Had everything you needed.

Cleanliness is always important
We chose Echo Mountain as our place to stay while celebrating our anniversary. We liked the history, the beautiful grounds and the opportunity to enjoy a hearty breakfast before taking off to enjoy all the area has to offer. The decor of our room was comfortable and in-keeping with an historical setting. Our only disappointment was with the cleanliness, particularly of the bathroom. Because the room had no ventilation there was mold on the ceiling. A shower curtain placed over the window was stained and was difficult to keep from bumping into. We understand that during high season it’s hard to do deep cleaning, but this dirt seemed to have been overlooked repeatedly. We intend to return to the area in the spring with friends and have hoped to bring them to a place like Echo Mtn. We may need to reconsider.

Just Beautiful
If you want to switch off & enjoy spectacular views this does the job. We were in the middle of a 2,000 road trip & this was by far our favourite stop. You feel immediately peaceful

The core building dates from 1896, has character and is beautifully decorated. There are lovely common sitting areas with extensive windows overlooking nearby hills and mountains. The property has privacy and feels secluded. Planted gardens and lawns invite strolling. The complimentary buffet breakfast is delicious and the eating room has a gorgeous view. Owners Travis and Becky were pleasant, informative, and conversational. Employees were pleasant and courteous. We loved our 5 night stay and visit to the Hendersonville area.

From the time we arrived and until we we departed, everything about this place made you feel welcome and you were part of the family. Lots of things to do and explore around the area. It was a great trip and we are already planning a December trip for all of the Christmas decorations at the inn and the Biltmore. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for an awesome weekend.

Terrific stay
We had a "fantastic" relaxing couple of days. It was so peaceful and quiet. We totally enjoyed meeting and talking with their Godly Ambassador, Marcie. She is the grandmother who lives there. The service was "great". We enjoyed a short tour by Crystal when we got there, and a longer one later, so we could see the other rooms to decide which one we wanted to stay in on our next trip. This is now one of our "favorite" B&B's and we can hardly wait to come back in the summer.

THERE WAS NOTHING TO LIKE, AN OLD PROPERTY, PICTURES ONLINE MISREPRESENTED THE ROOM, VERY OLD, POOR HEATING, INSECTS, NO STAFF TO CONTACT ONCE WE ARRIVED. THIS WAS SO BAD THAT WE DID NOT STAY, PICKED UP OUR LUGGAGE AND WENT OUT LOOKING FOR A HOTEL. PLEASE DO NOT REPRESENT THIS PROPERTY.

Pedro, I know you drove up through some thick fog to get to our place, it's difficult to see much of the property at 10:30 at night. I'm sorry you didn't see our after hours number posted at the desk right next to where you picked up your key, or in the envelope you picked up as well. If you had, we would've been able to address any concerns you had. Or if you called us the next day, we could've at least addressed your refund.

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us a map of the the surroundings. The Inn is in a beautiful setting and makes one feel right at home. Nice continental breakfast too!!

Love the grounds and the peacefulness. Staff all very congenial, the various sitting room and the porch are lovely and inviting. Their new restaurant is EXCELLENT, be sure to make reservations early, preferably before you arrive. Views are great. Will definitely be back again.

The location here was fantastic. We stayed in the Little Echo and I was disappointed in the condition of the room and bathroom. It was very outdated. The bath was very small and the air conditioner was very loud.

What a lovely place to stay!
Sweet little historic inn located in a private setting, nice pool, friendly staff, room was just perfect. Beautiful flowers and serene setting. Loved it!
