An absolutely charming stay in every respect. The afternoon service was a pleasant and tasteful surprise. The breakfast was excellent, better than the $20-per-person breakfast we had two weeks earlier at the DoubleTree hotel in Raleigh.

An excellent location in Hendersonville, steps away from Main St., shopping and restaurants. The Charleston is a family run business and they treat the guests like family. Very comfortable stay in an historic property. Be aware its an old home so could be up to 3 flights of steps to your room.

The location is great. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. The hostess was friendly, cheerful and accommodating. The common areas are nice and there are kitchen areas on each floor with beverages and snacks for guests. Parking is available on the property so guests don’t need to park on the street. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived and entering the house was difficult. The breakfasts were meager compared to other B&B breakfasts. There were outlets in the room but would have liked usb ports for charging devices.

It is an old house, so don't expect modern amenities. We love the feel of the place especially the rocking chair porches. The staff girls are the best part of the BnB. She even noticed right away when my truck wouldn't start and gave me a jump. We have stayed here two times so far and will always make "The Charleston" our first choice. Nice and close to the business district where all the stores and restaurants are located. Lots of interesting historical places to visit as well. See you girls again next year. The room was very clean, bathroom was modern, the staff was warm and friendly. We enjoyed the live music, evening social hour with drinks and snacks. The location was excellent, and within walking distance to Main Street restaurants and shops. Overall, it was a good stay. I would not hesitate to rebook, if I am in the area in the future.

The Charleston Inn proved to be an excellent place to stay during my time in Hendersonville. The breakfasts and overall service were consistently impressive, and the location—just a short two‑block walk from the downtown area filled with shops and restaurants—made exploring especially convenient. Even with the Garden Jubilee taking place and the weekend being rainy, it was still an enjoyable visit, made better by having such a comfortable and well‑situated place to stay.
