The room is spacious and has a great view of the ocean, and cleaned well. However our check-in experience was unpleasant, or I should rather say, non-existent. Despite I replied to the hotel’s email inquiry on our arrival time, we arrived late around 11pm, and found the hotel entrance locked and all lights shut. We stood in rain trying to figure out how to get in. Their phone number listed on Expedia doesn’t work. We finally got into the lobby by pressing a button labeled as “do not use,” and found another phone number listed for “after hour service” which no one picks up. We searched for a while but had no luck, and had to download a massaging app to try to get in touch with their receptionist. After a few calls with no response, they finally messaged back to say that they have hidden our room key in the front desk. The hotel could have helped us to save all the trouble by either letting us know they are not equipped to accommodate late check in, or by providing us with access information ahead of time. It’s unfortunately a very frustrating experience trying to search for clues in rain and darkness, and worries about if we have a space to stay for the night. We didn’t meet any of their staff / anyone else till we leave next morning. Please be aware of the late check in issue if you may arrive late - their Google review says they have 24 hour staff onsite but that’s not the case.

Excellent service from the staff. The room is big and hotel is close to the beach but unfortunately beach was closed. The location is remote so you need a car or moped.

雙人房有一房一廳還有半露天的陽台浴池，服務人員也很親切，房價也合理！真的是很棒的住宿選擇，下次如果有機會再到墾丁，還是會選擇入住泊途。

不推薦，但算便宜，強烈建議再三思。
憑著九年前住過的美好經驗，期望本次也有美好回憶，但是，可惜的是，一入住看到斑駁，老舊的住宿外觀，沒有整理的環境，蕭條的整體環境。房間很大，但是仔細看就知道應該沒有在維護了。半夜上廁所發現一隻大蟑螂，時不時還有馬陸，馬陸是益蟲還可接受，蟑螂不能接受。

Very nice, comfortable, clean hotel with a modern, boutique feel. i had the impression we'd get a good "ocean view", but it was obstructed. Friendly service, good amenities. Overall great experience.

Nice Hotel in Quiet Area
Nice, eccentric "boutique" hotel off the beaten path of Kenting. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. But Wi-fi was not working and breakfast was marginal. Staff very friendly and welcoming, but little English spoken.

We very much enjoyed our stay at El Puerto. I recommend it for people traveling with their own transportation, as the location is a little ways out of town. There are great views of the sea from just across the road, but unfortunately no beach within walking distance. The staff is polite and the room was great. There are a lot of great outdoor activities in the area. Breakfast was a rather unusual combination of foods, but adequate. Not a lot of vegetarian options. I would stay here again if I return to southern Taiwan.

Great little place to stay near Kending parks
We loved the size of the hotel rooms and 2 king size beds for the room type we booked. Location wise, it is right next to the Kenting main road and within walking distance to the most southern point of Taiwan. We enjoyed the stay here and appreciate the staff's welcome. Only improvement area will be breakfast offering is very limited, certainly not enough to accommodate needs of different family members.

South of Kenting but a great spot away from the Night Market craziness! The Mountain View room was very nice and the view was great. The staff was very nice and helpful. My Chinese is not very good but the staff's English was so our stay was wonderful.

Perfect location!
Away from the hustle and bustle of Kenting and the night market, yet close enough for a short car drive into town. The staff at El Puerto were great. Unlimited rides into town for dinner. The rooms were big and super comfortable. Great deck from the 3rd floor mountain view, very serene. Selection of food was small, but Kenting is not far away. Breakfast buffet was ample with many options. We will definitely be back! Our go-to hotel in Kenting area.

Modern and stylish hotel outside Kenting
We spent two nights here on our Taiwan travel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with two kingsized bed. So for a couple we had a lot of space since all El Puertos rooms can accommodate families of four. The hotel is located c.5km south of Kenting (the main city in the area). The location is more quite and laid back then the busy tourist streets of Kenting. The hotel offers free shuttle during the reception's open hours. The staff is friendly and will make an effort to help you with whatever. We appreciated the hotel and neighborhood to the extend that it was ok to miss out on the nightlife of Kenting.

It's a rather new and hip hotel in Kenting area. 2 Huge beds and a sitting area which is wry spacious for a relaxing environment. Sea view was great.

Nice getaway
This is my first hotels.com review. We felt compelled to review this hotel for many reasons. My husband and I needed a quick get away from Shanghai to escape the pollution and cold weather. Although we traveled to Kending during off-peak season, we were pleasanty surprised. Upon checkin, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We asked about renting a scooter and they arranged everything for us. Because it was off-peak season, the hotel was fairly empty, which allowed us to pick the exact room we wanted. The staff agreed to let us visit two types of rooms available- the 3rd floor room with the ocean view and the 1st floor room with a large outdoor spa tub. Both rooms had their own draws, but we opted for the 3rd floor with the view. We entered the room as the sun was about to set and the sunset was the backdrop to a nice free-standing bathtub in the middle of the room. THe room also came with a nice large shower (easily able to fit 2-5 people, or more!). Each room also has a nice balcony. THe room was very large, allowing us to freely move aroud and enjoy the space. Dividing the room was a flat screen TV which swiveled and rotated 360 degrees aroud the room so we were able to watch HBO from anywhere in the room! The entire hotel was designed beautifully- every detail was thought after.

Their room service is the best! very nice staffs and manager. they did all their best to make my stay special, and I was deeply impressed by the fact that they take care of the nature. (they were taking care of a cute dove, who lost his way and couldn:t fly..)

Hotel is great! Style and decor is contemporary. Location is abit far from the Main Street but they offer a courtesy car that will pick you up and drop you off. Beautiful beach across the street but you are not allowed to access. Overall great place
