"Property is in a great location. Cottage is unique and quaint. Floors sloping upstairs and very squeaky. Beds very comfortable. Paperwork from owner was overwhelming and too much. "

"I had a wonderful stay at the Bull. The place itself is beautiful and the meals were delicious. The staff were so welcoming and friendly as well. Everything was absolutely perfect. Would be delighted to stay there again when I’m in the area. "

"Good value for money if you want a no-frills stay. The beds are quite comfy, there's a small TV and tea/coffee in the room. The shared bathroom is okay. It's a little way out of High Wycombe area but there isn't much else available at this price"

"Well all you need to know is we passed the police raiding with Tasers drawn in the corridor as we were leaving... Unclean, unwelcoming locked front door, very tired fittings, mouldy, musty smelling, broken tap, could go on.
Recommended if you want to be on Police camera action. "

"I've stayed in Premier Inns before, such as one in London in the Blackfriars area and the one at Heathrow. Both of them were good, clean hotels. But this one in Reading was a major disappointment. The room was dingy, there were stains on the carpet and the bathroom floor was sticky. floors. The towels smelled. The worse was when I turned on the water in the shower and discovered that the water wasn't draining and what's worse, particles of debris (that strangely looked like wood chips) came out...

"It was just ok.
Location was excellent for us which is a big plus but let down by poor communications (no response to phone calls or emails at all). Check in instructions were sent, but after check in time. I wanted to confirm the arrangements upfront as it was getting to the stage where I thought I would need to arrange alternative accommodation.
In addition, the flat itself was frankly, filthy. Dirty toilet, shower, all work surfaces covered in dust. It is a really small place so would...

"Great hotel in a perfect location overlooking the river. I had a comfortable stay - the room and especially the bathroom were very small (I struggled to close the bathroom door without squeezing behind it) The breakfast was very nice and made to order with quality ingredients. Check in was good but the reception staff should inform guests that the key ring for the hotel room also acts as a fob for the hotel gates. I went walking and couldn’t access the hotel from the pedestrian gates from the street as wasn’t told about the key ring. Good stay overall and would visit again. "
"Great hotel. Lovely location and fab staff that delivered extra tea, milk and coffee when I ran out very efficiently. Building works by our room but didn’t effect our stay. Thank you "
"Small but had everything we needed. Good, powerful shower and comfortable bed. Property well located for access to pubs, rest and only a one minute walk to the river. "
