"โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ We absolutely loved our stay at Diggers Country Lodge in Tulbagh. It is a beautiful, peaceful place with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and the perfect base from which to explore Tulbagh and the surrounding valley. The accommodation was comfortable, welcoming and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and generous โ definitely enough to keep you going for most of the day! What really stood out was the warm hospitality and the feeling of being able to simply slow down, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We had such a lovely few days here and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Tulbagh."

"As a foreigner in South Africa it was an excellent last day at this wonderful location. It is only an hour from the airport, but safe and incredibly picturesque. It is small and surrounded by a wonderful garden, secure parking, rustic but absolutely sufficient amenities and a great breakfast by a wonderful fireplace next to a little library full of good books. Canโt think about anything else Iโd want."

"The estate is perfectly situated in the middle of vineyards and orchards. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our stoep which also faced a pergola with picnic table and pool. We enjoyed panoramic views of the mountain ranges during our walks around the farm on days when we weren't hiking or visiting nearby wine estates. They The staff prepared our fire place with wood so that we could enjoy an evening with wine, food and friends on our private stoep as well. The common areas are charming and perfectly manicured. Every member of the staff was friendly and eager to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant was warm and inviting with a warm fire on cold rainy days, and open and airy on sunny days. The food service staff was attentive and the food was perfectly prepared. The menu is limited, but it would meet anyone's taste or dietary restrictions. The chef was flexible with our requests. We even purchased delicious guava preserves to bring home. We will certainly be staying with them again if we are lucky enough to journey back to the beautiful wine country of South Africa."
