"Fine, standard, no frills hotel. Pricey because of Oktoberfest, but walkable to old town, fest, and the train station. Very helpful staff. Not many amenities (in the name of environmental concerns), but a nice bar and nearby shops and restaurants. Comfortable beds and windows that open to allow air flow - thank you. AC as well."

"Nice little hotel which is just around the corner from the main train station and walkable into town. We paid for the basic room which was small but functional and most importantly clean. Staff were really helpful and although no tea and coffee in the rooms, you could get this at reception. Definitely had more character than the usual chain hotels and would stay again."

"The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area; however, the lack of parking—or rather, the distance of the parking from the hotel—is an issue. We stayed on the top floor, which featured a terrace and offered beautiful views. The breakfast area is problematic; we had to wait quite a while for a table to become available, and in the end, three of us ended up sitting at a small table meant for two."

"The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was nice and clean, however the construction starting at 7 am is something that should have been mentioned when checking in. The building next door is going through a major renovation and it’s going to be a while before it’s complete. Just a heads up would have been nice. Ask for a courtyard side room if you want to sleep in past 7 am"

"Easy check in, staff very friendly, the room was clean, nice seating area and the kitchenette was clean and we had everything we needed to cook a meal. On the last day they keep our luggage free of charge so we could make some last minute shopping. If back in Munich I'll be staying here again."
