"This hotel is crazy good. The price is very nice and the room is spacious. Sleeping on tatami is comfortable and a good experience. The hotel provides free public bath (I think it provides special sea hot springs). Sand bath is also wonderful ($1500 yen)."

"We loved the views and customer service! However, we were not told that we needed to make reservations for dinner at least 24hours prior to arrival. We had to go somewhere else to have dinner. We couldn't use the
pool because they told us that is was only for summer time, but we were there in May, and it was already hot, and the weather was perfect for a splash in the
pool."

"What I liked about the hotel was that it had its own sand covering experience because Kagoshima is known for this experience but usually at another location.
The thing that I didn’t like was the fact that the bathtub water faucet was leaking water and making the bathtub dirty. Also if you are not use to sleeping on tatami style bedding it’s going to be hard to get a good sleep. "
