"The room was excellent. Breakfast choices were great, could of been hotter. Staff was polite and pleasant. "

"The Rooms were unfinished. Sheets on bed were never changed from previous person who stayed there. We had little black bugs crawling on the wall in the bathroom near the doorframe. The put us as far away as could be from the elevator with a party member being handicap. The hot tub was so cloudy you could don't see the bottom. The breakfast was THE WORST BREAkFAST BY FAR that anyone in our party has ever had at a hotel. The hotel keys consistently did not work to open room doors ( no we did not have them ANYWHERE near a phone like they stated at check in. The garbage was overflowing in all the garbage cans. At no point did we see anyone cleaning or maintaining any part of the hotel. The air reeked of mold covered up by pinesol. Every time we got on the elevator people were complaining about their rooms. We were charged an extra $20 for a bed because we had a child who would not sleep in the dirty bed . We left some food in the fridge and called the hotel several times after check out and was told they would call back and they never did. They had exactly 4 total handicap spots of which all were filled when we arrived at the hotel. Oh breakfast - My hardboiled egg actually takes and bounced like a rubber ball. Nothing was nutritious. We waited 45 minutes for scrambled eggs, which was the only decent food. And we had the joy of eating off dirty table cloths they leave on all of breakfast that are shared by all guests. So incredibly gross adn honestly should be reported to dept"

"I made the reservation for Motel 6 in north Normal, IL online and no where did it indicate this was a smoking room. We checked in around 3:30 but did not go in the room. When we went into the room at midnight it was terrible. It stunk like cigarettes and moldy air. There was hair on the bathroom floor. Several outlets didn't work. The TV did not turn on. The smoke detector was painted over. There were cigarette burn holes in the bed cover. It looked like tiny blood stains on the sheets. Terrible. We did not stay in the room. When we returned in the am to request a refund we were denied by "Andy" (not his real name). He said it was our fault to book a smoking room, but did not care about the other problems. We want all of our money back."

"The entire place inside and outside was atrocious. This disgusting building needs to be gutted or torn down. The online photos are entirely deceiving and in no way what you find when you arrive. "

"Outside and parking lot was ran down. Lobby was clean and nice. Room was clean. But no hand soap provided, lotion, and body soap in shower was empty. Breakfast was below average. Staff was fine, but definitely understaffed. Overall, a decent stay. But for over a $200 stay you could expect more. "

"Where to begin. We literally saw a mouse in our room. Called the front desk and the apologized and said they were booked. About 30 min later Called back and said they have a different room for us. That room was even worse. Mouse dropping at pee on the pull out mattresses. Looking further there were droppings on the foundation of the regular beds. So we had to go back to thr room with the mouse because they had nothing. Needless to say I didn't sleep at all. Unfortunately we couldn't go to another hotel because everywhere was bookec due to graduation. I will never return to this hotel. "

"Most of the things didn't. Work. We didn't have a phone or a working vlock. We were charged extra tax after we already paid for our room months ago. I think we should get that money back."

"We had a handicapped accessable room and the shower did not work properly. The hand held spray did not work. I told the front desk and they had a repairman come and fix it the next day. It then worked but it leaked horribly. The staff was good to get someone to look at it but the repairman did a less than good job."
