"I was on Jekyll Island for a three day conference. The Conference Center was less than a five minute walk from this facility. This was my first time I was on Jekyll Island and the front desk employees I had contact with were amiable and professional. "Brandy" helped me tremendously by printing out a one page document required for the conference. The parking area is large and free after paying the $10.00 fee to come on Jekyll Island. Beach access is also less than a five minute walk behind the adjacent Westin. I opted to walk on the beach during my short visit instead of trying out the inviting pool and exercise room. Though traveling alone, I felt safe during my visit while in the hotel, walking through the village and on the beach. My room was huge, clean, and contemporary. The bed and pillows were wonderful, allowing me to sleep well. The breakfast was more than adequate, offering coffee, tea, hot cereal (and toppings), yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, make your own waffles, and Grab and Go egg, sausage (some chicken sausage), cheese on a whole grain bagel, English muffin, or brioche bun. I was pleased that the breakfast was heartier than typical donuts and pastries offered elsewhere."
