"We booked the room a long time in advance to make use of the spa facilities. When we arrived we tried to get day access to the spa as specified in hotels.com. We were informed that this was wrong, price was per hour. On insisting, we were told they were fully booked for the day. On insisting further, we were finally offered 2 hours the next morning, but we had to leave and could not make use of the spa. As a note they are still selling day access to the spa on hotels.com. "We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Sea Pearl Luxury Rooms — the room was well designed, modern, spotless, great A/C, free street parking in front, and close to the Migliarina train station to go to cinque terre which was much quieter and easier to park than céntrale. We appreciated the daily housekeeping, stocked mini bar fridge with reasonable prices and coffee/tea. Also try Andree restaurant when you’re in La Spezia, can’t recommend it enough! "
"This was an incredibly clean and modern room. The shower was amazing. Good space for clothing and a mini fridge, along with nespresso coffee machine. Liliane was quick to respond to questions and was there for check in. Definitely would book again. Close to the train station "

"I had great hopes for this hotel but fell short a little. The property is nice and well done but does not offer anything beyond a room and a, lets call it "sufficient" breakfast. Unless you use the spa area which looks great on the pictures, there is just nothing else.
The view is great, the location is great and the hotel is in great condition. Hence the reason for the 5-star but it sure is lacking something a little more.
Parking is a bit of a pain and loading/unloading should be better explained in an initial email before arriving. We blocked the road by mistake.
No elevator, for whoever may need that. We were fine.

"The property itself is really nice but checking in is a bit more difficult. When you arrive at the property you are presented with the phone number to call the reception which is located somewhere else. When I called up the woman on the phone was not very helpful and trying to give me directions to get to reception which are down the road across the Roundabout up the hill and about one kilometer away. Once I got checked in the rest of it was fairly straightforward getting back to the property obtaining the key from the lock box and then getting into the room the room was supposed to have a ironing board but didn't"
