"We booked our stay at the Townhouse Barstow Historic Resort, but ended up at a Super 8 hotel instead. (It turned out that the cost of our stay included a "resort fee"—a relatively small amount, but one that Expedia, for some reason, failed to mention). Nevertheless, the staff at the front desk gave us a friendly welcome. However, that alone is not enough to ensure guests get a proper night's rest. The bedding felt stale to us—giving the impression that it hadn't been changed since the previous guests; the mattress was terrible, and the pillows were completely worn out. It also wouldn't have hurt to have a bit more coffee available. The breakfast was simple and catered primarily to those with a sweet tooth, though—on the plus side—we did meet some very pleasant people there."
"TV was very small, pillows were small and the beds were not very comfortable. The grounds were nice, one giant cactus was beautiful, hotel relatively quiet and the parking lot seemed safe to park your car."
"Great motel. The husband and wife that runs this motel are so friendly and helpful.
We appreciate all of the old 1950's cars parked outside along with monuments of things that were used in the 1950's.
We'll be back here again."
"Barstow is a super sketchy town there's a bunch of zombies wandering the streets at night it's kind of creepy and made me really appreciate where I live. The state was very good the rooms were clean it's pet friendly the owners were super friendly and welcoming the free breakfast was great my boyfriend loved the waffles the only thing that kind of sucked was that the pool was closed the website needs to be updated because it says the pool closes at 10:00 p.m. but now they close at 9:00 p.m. also on the website it says that there's a Vons across the street but the Vons across the street is now an abandoned building but if you're looking for a cheap quick stay somewhere clean to sleep and good breakfast I would recommend staying here just be careful at night"
"Usually go for budget options but after a camping trip this was the perfect place for comfort, ease and cleanliness. Check in was easy, room was clean, spacious and comfortable. pool and hot tub were great, breakfast was pretty good. Parking is a bit restricted when Chili's is busy. Great choice"
"Always a great experience staying at Quality Inn!
Room is clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is delicious always. I highly recommend staying at this property."
