On a positive: check in was relatively fast and accommodating, beautiful views of the ocean.
On the other hand, room furniture was old, room was consistently not made up until early evening hours, phone calls for hotel services were not answered for up to 10 minutes, daily parking fees were unreasonably high.

My only issue was that I did not receive the discounted rates that LXR offered because I made my reservations through Expedia. I feel Expedia should be more transparent or at least or the same discounts as the hotel does.

Staff was nice and room was clean and spacious, but has a stupid design, as the bed is only about 10 inches from the heater/air conditioner, so it is hard for an older person to navigate getting in and out of bed on that side and it blows right on the bed. This had the worst shower I've had in years. ...

One staff member a bit rude other than the problem I have at this hotel is key for the electronic door I have to go to the front desk daily which is a pain in the a** as I stay here at least 3 to 4 nights every quarter.
