When we went back to the main lobby, we had to wait in the lobby for over an hour before the staff got us a room. They did not provide updates either. They just asked us to wait. Any update they did provide to us was provided in Japanese and they clearly knew that I could not understand Japanese. "This is a wonderful hotel. New (built 2018) and well appointed. Hot spring bath (onsen) in the room. There are great views of the sea, as the hotel is right at the water's edge. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is excellent."

"I stayed 3 nights for a conference in Shimonoseki. The hotel is clean, has all the amenities I need, and the onsen was a plus. Hotel provides pyjamas and all sorts of skin care products at no additional charge. The open bar in the evenings was also a nice touch. There are good restaurants within walking distance."
