This was the best hotel experience of our Japan trip. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The location was perfect for an overnight visit to Itsukushima. The food at the hotel was exquisite, and the ocean view from our room was beautiful.
Honestly one of the best hotel room I had! View on the sea was so much pretty!

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is in a great location. The room was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. Unlimited wine at night with all day provided snacks was a cherry on the top. I would recommend it to anyone to stay there who would plan an overnight stay on the island. Thank you very much for such hospitality.
My wife and had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is right in the middle if Miyajima where all the tourists go. We had dinner at the hotel and it was great. Highly recommended to stay here.
We had an excellent stay at Itskushima Iroha - the room had everything we needed, it was in a wonderful location - but the staff make it! So friendly and so professional, we are so happy we booked this amazing hotel. Thank you! We hope to visit again soon!

Fantastic 1 night stay! We absolutely loved the room. The dinner and breakfast were wonderful and the service was unreal. It was a beautiful stay. Thank you
If you are considering splurging for a night here, do it. The staff is excellent and the room immaculate. Great soaking tub, free snack lounge & breakfast with delicious food. We will be back. It is also nice to have all the tourists leave and be on the peaceful, quiet island at night.
If I could give this 100/10 I would. It is perfection.
The onsen with a view on the roof is amazing.
Fantastic breakfast
Room stunning
Brilliant staff.
Simply Fabulous! All of the personnel are amazing and so helpful. The rooms are top notch! Spacious and beautifully designed. Japanese breakfast on its own is a superb culinary experience.
Had a fantastic one night stay here. The attention to detail, staff attentiveness and facilities truly were flawless. The kaiseki dinner was also out of this world, excellent presentation and fantastic ingredients. I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Itsukushima Iroha. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night. Short walk from the ferry terminal. The staff was so wonderful! The snack/continental breakfast room was lovely. Our room was divine! We were upgraded to a sea view room where we could enjoy the famous Torii gate from our window. The hotel was so quiet and serene, even as the streets outside were bustling with island visitors. This stay was a definite highlight of our time in Japan.
Lovely hotel on the promenade overlooking the bay. We stayed 2 nights. Staff was exceedingly polite. Only problem is that everywhere to eat in town closes at 4-5 pm and the hotel offers only a very large prix fixe dinner that must be reserved in advance. A hotel in this price range should make allowances for guests who don’t want or need the full dinner experience.
We had a lovely stay in Miyajima, a stone's throw away from Itsukushima Shrine. Our ocean-view room had a view of the torii gate of the iconic shrine. Everything about the room from that view to the bedding to the bathroom was immaculate.
We also enjoyed a course (kaiseki) dinner facing the ocean, and Itsukushima Iroha catered to our vegetarian diet needs for dinner and breakfast.
To top it off, our friendly receptionist suggested some lovely local sights after we asked for some recommendations beyond the shrine.
I was genuinely impressed with my stay. Check-in was seamless and warmly welcoming — the staff member who greeted me (I wish I’d caught her name) was attentive, engaging, and full of interesting conversation. She shared her own travel stories from Oxford and London, and even remembered I had an early departure, thoughtfully arranging a breakfast to take with me — a lovely touch.
The room itself was outstanding — easily the best night’s sleep I had during my time in Japan. The location is ideal: peaceful and tucked away from the crowds, offering a real sense of escape.
Dinner was pleasant, though not the highlight — the food was fine and service was great, but it’s not somewhere you’d come for a culinary standout. That said, during the day you can enjoy the street food stands nearby and opt for a lighter meal in the evening.
Best Hotel I have ever been to. Superior Room with sea side view is super nice, with a view on famous Miyajima Torii. Very spacious rooms with nice beds, Japanese style seats and desk on tatami mats and western style chairs and desk. Very nice bathroom with onsen style tub. Lots of amenities. Do better than I did and book more than on night. I prolonged my stay, but unfortunately sea side was not available. Mountain side is also nice, but sea side is the side that you want!
Absolutely beautiful place, gave me everything I needed in my holiday in Japan have recommend it to everyone I know, it is a beautiful place and location.
