While I was taking this picture a deer was going through my camera bag and heading off down the beach with one of my filter holders. A fantastic island for photographers and tourists in general and well worth an overnight visit if you're going to Hiroshima, as it's only an hour away, and free to get to if you're on a JR rail pass.

Great one night stop on our tour of Japan.

The location near the ferry was perfect so we had somewhere to stay after an evening stop at Miyajima. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We also thought the breakfast in the morning was great with a variety of western and Japanese dishes to choose from.

Super friendly staff, breakfast was delicious. It is right beside the ferry, great for a day trip to Miyajima. The room is simple and comfortable, it has everything you need. They will give you new towels even if you didn’t request a room refresh.

Perfect for Visiting Miyajima Island

We had an ocean view room and it was so beautiful! The location is amazing, so close to the train station and also the ferries. One minute walk to the ferries! The breakfast was great, the room was so spacious and clean. I can’t recommend it enough. I wish we got to stay longer!

Overall a good hotel with a great location to visit Mikayla Island. It is literally next to the ferry terminal. The beds were a little bit on the hard side, for my taste. The decor looks outdated. They provide complimentary breakfast, which was not great, but it was good! Bottom line, if you are going to Miyajima Island and want to stay off the island, this is a great option.
