Hiroshima Washington Hotel

"Very well located hotel, easy to walk to the peace museum and the pedestrianised shopping area with a tram stop at the end of the road to get to Miyajima and other places. Less than 100m from Okonomimura, less than 50m from the most overwhelming Don Quijote I've ever been in. Room was quite small but still comfortable and with a good size bathroom (bathroom including shower/bath was probably half the room) - not super modern but still very nice and with every feature we could need really. Good view from the upper floors!"

"Very clean. Great location. Easy place to stay for two Americans. Buffet breakfast was good but not great. Easy to find quick breakfast in the neighborhood. They had a washer/dryer room. I'd def stay here again."
Mercure Tokyu Stay Hiroshima

"Brand new property as it opened on the day we arrived. Beautifully designed and very modern. The staff tried their best however there were some teething issues. We pre-paid via Hotels.com but the staff at check-in said they could find our booking but could not see whether we had paid. Ended up supplying proof of payment by showing them our bank records and for supplying our card number again. This was not ideal and check-in for the 4 rooms our party booked took almost an hour. Apart from this, the stay was largely pleasant. I particularly liked the innovative idea of the breakfast, offering unique pastries and bread from local bakeries instead of the boring buffet spread. Rooms were reasonably sized. Best feature was the in-room washing machine. However, disappointingly, in one of the four rooms we booked, the washing machine did not work and started leaking water in the middle of the night. This meant that some of us had to stay up until 1am while the staff tried to fix it. In the morning they provided another room for us but caused us to miss breakfast. Nothing was offered to compensate for the extreme inconvenience."

"Staff were great and loved the terrace area (outside on 14th floor). Did find the air too dry in the room which ended up making me unwell (know it was the room as was unwell until we left, started feeling better when left the hotel). Otherwise great hotel."

"This was our favourite place we stayed in our Japan visit. Good spot- Walking distance to park hut we used bus which was very close. Nearby mall for other items. Very clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff that spoke excellent English. Great pool and spa pool/cold plunge. Enjoyed the buffet dinner. Beds was most comfortable great pillows and fully black out blinds!!! Such a comfortable stay.beautiful view out Of large windows from beautiful rooms."

"Amazing property with very friendly and helpful staff. Location was phenomenal and close to the atomic bomb memorial/peace park. The restaurant in the lobby was really good and not overly expensive. Hotel provided a free welcome drink which was nice. Room was spotless and large with great amenities. Perfect stay"
