"First of all I have enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. I had a great 7 days of relaxation and rest. The positives: The Hotel itself was of a good standard. We had a mater suite which included a separate bedroom and two shower rooms. Also included was the hot tub on the balcony. I recommend this package that includes the “Elite” status as you have the exclusive access to one pool which means a far less crowded experience. Also with the Elite package you get a Butler to help you and access to a rooftop bar and elite pool. Food The breakfast buffet in the “Market” was as good as any I’ve had. The restaurants were overall ok . The best meal we had was in the Palapa , good portions and pretty tasty, the food could have been hotter. Drinks No issues here. Service On the whole it was good , a bit hit and miss at times but staff did try and were friendly. The drinks service at the pools was nice. Amenities The pools were excellent, very clean and warm too. Gym: appeared to be pretty good from what I saw. We spent most of our time enjoying the pool and sunbathing, hardly went to the beach but it was very nice. The not so good: Maintenance was an issue , our sink faucet was loose, I mean hanging off loose but because we had 3 sinks I never bothered reporting it. There were 2 AC units that were very good but unfortunately on the last night one of the started leaking water and brought down a ceiliing panel. Overall 4* not 5, due to maintenance and food not quite there . "

"Terrible Week. Booked two rooms for my family and asked to have them next to each other, but the rooms weren't even in the same building. First night found cockroach in my room. Reported it and nothing was done so I trapped it under an overturned garbage can. Second night took a shower and the drain didn't work...water throughout the floor of the entire room. Reported both issues and they sent exterminators with respirators to spray poison. I told them I didn't want to sleep in a room with my kid that has poison but they didn't want to give me another room. I had to complain to three different people before I got a new room. Some slides at the water park were closed and never opened for the whole week. They stopped providing rides to the water park from the hotel so my kids and I had to walk it. Food was not great. My daughter was very ill from an undercooked hamburger served at the beach. Toilet in new room stopped working. They tried selling me on a VIP experience the next time I stay there...when I explained why I will never go back to that hotel the guy simply said, "Oh, okay, bye". Not once did any representative try to make things right. They truly don't care about the guest experience. "

"We had an ocean view and a corner room of the hotel. Absolutely beautiful rooms and very clean. The cleaning staff came in daily to stock the fridge and provide clean towels. Everyone was very helpful and kind, the service was excellent. The restaurants were also incredible for dinner and some were open for lunch. The buffet was always really well kept up with and had plenty of options"
