"The location from outside not look that good and was lucky to have one parking spot avilable. Room very clean as well as washroom,look like been totally renovated. There is no front desk,everything done by codes for main entry door and your room once you check-in. Only negative concerns, that heater Knob was broken and we was unable to reduce room temperature, ended up by sleeping and keep window open,I already called the hotel staff but couldn't help."

"The staff was very helpful when our room felt extremely hot because the heater wouldn’t turn off and the window would not open wide enough to let the cool air in. They moved us to a different room which was 100% better. Rooms were clean."

"We stayed at Hotel Von for our first two nights in Reykjavik before heading out on our 12-day Ring Road adventure. This was a great home base for those first two days as it was extremely convenient getting from KEF and for roaming around Reykjavik. It was also a nice location for when we did the Golden Circle and were gone from 7AM until about midnight. Accommodations were clean, rooms slightly small (but perfect for us), and great location for being able to see the sites / take in a few restaurants downtown. We'd definitely stay again if we ever get back to Reykjavik."

"We were extremely happy with the amount of room, cleanliness and the overall location for our brief stay in Reykjavik. The hotel was in proximity to everything we wanted to explore. There is minimal parking so be prepared to utilize a public parking deck or street parking if a space is not available. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the on-site bar/restaurant was a great spot for a late evening night cap. Would definitely recommend for your city stay in Reykjavik."
