Cheap hotel in district 1, mouldy smell

Hoang Phu Gia is a comfortable 3 star hotel in district 1. It's good value for money and in a relatively nice area of Ho Chi Minh, walking distance to most (if not all) of the tourist attractions. The only negative is that there was a musty / mouldy smell in our room which made it unpleasant at times. For this reason, I would probably not recommend Hoang Phu Gia.

Shopping around this area is good with all the major players within a square mile not near any tourism stay near the river for that . The hotel was tired but worth the money and has a gym and swimming pool on the 6 th floor

Spectacular 3* hotel.

This is the 2nd time I had returned to this wonderful budget hotel. The location is right in the middle of the D1 area and has many good food and a K store opppsite the hotel. It is the only city hotel that provides 2 beds in a big room for less than US$50.

Comfortable stay

Clean, spacious with everything you will need for a hotel stay. They even have bath tubs! That is hard to find in vietnam. I found their rooms to be very comfortable. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is an interesting mix of foods but good! Good location.

Pleasant reasonable hotel

I don't understand the low grade for this hotel. We had a very pleasant stay. The staff didn't speak much English but they were welcoming and helpful. My friends loved the breakfast which contained a random mix of pizza, pho, chips, fruit, yoghurt etc. The room was fairly basic but clean and quiet with a comfy bed. The shower was a little low but worked well (though one morning I had no hot water). Overall it was good value.

Great Service and Value For Money

Room was clean and spacious. The service was great and the staffs always have their warm smiles to greet you. Ben thanh market is so near about 10mins walk away from the hotel. There's a convenience store just beside the hotel, a nearby coffee shop that is a must try. The hotel price was all worth it and I will definitely stay there again when I visit HCM city next time.

청결은 나쁘지 않으나 시설은 그닥... 한국 모텔도 좀 저렴이 수준. 식사도 나쁘지 않으나 전날 음식 다시 나옴. 위치는 여행자거리에서 걸어서 10분 내외. 싸게 묵을만 함. 참고로 방음 안됨.

Hos Hoang Phu Gia får du mye for pengene. Rommene er rene og komfortable, og frokostbufféen er ikke så verst. Hotellet ligger ganske sentralt, ca. 10 minutters gange unna de typiske turistattraksjonene i sentrum. Det føltes også nokså trygt å gå i nabolaget, selv alene på kveldstid. Men man må jo selvsagt alltid være obs på at noe kan skje, og det er lurt å legge verdisaker i safen på hotellrommet. Personalet var ikke veldig gode i engelsk, men prøvde så godt de kunne.

Great Staff - Average Room

Staff were extremely helpful in organising tours, tickets and taxis. We used the laundry service - very reasonably priced, however they did lose my laundry and gave me someone else's underwear but were able to track it down after awhile. Room was ok, a little on the small side but comfortable. The reception desk were the highlight of this hotel.

Location is good

The location is very handy , but still need to take taxi to Ben Thanh maket. I was booked a room with a double bed, when I check in, they provided two single bed. It was taken more then 1 hours to check in.

ホテルのお部屋は清潔で快適でした。 朝食もおいしく、果物やお野菜、パン類やベトナム料理と充実していました。朝食をとるテーブルの数が少なく、７時ごろに行くと少々待つことになりますが、時間をずらすことができれば問題はありません。 ホテルのスタッはもとってもフレンドリーで、毎日素敵な笑顔で迎えてくれました。５泊もすると気分はお友達です！ 場所も徒歩でビンタインマーケットや美術館、ドンコイ通りやメコン河などに行ける距離なのでとても満足でした。 次にホーチミンを訪問する際もたぶんここにすると思います。
