"Great stay for 1 night when heading south."

"Lovely big clean room . Very noisy in the am though with people slamming doors ( there was a coach party staying) ."

"Great place to stay, great breakfast, would definitely stay again."

"Great staff good room very pleasent stay, recomend."

"Clean, comfortable, relatively quiet and at a great price. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"For the price can't complain as you also get free parking. The room was clean and tidy with clear instructions as to how to access the room key. The restaurant is dog friendly also and food delicious. Just bear in mind it can be noisy in the room until the restaurant closes but not a massive issue."

"Nice quiet location. Ample parking. Cozy and clean room. Handy local pub, shop and butchers across the road. Good freshly cooked breakfast."

"Clean and comfortable historic inn with fabulous staff and tasty food. I will definitely stay again when I’m in the area. Thank you!"

"As usual the Taunton Holiday Inn Express was excellent. Immaculate room, good breakfast, easy parking and helpful staff."

"Clean room and pleasant staff"

"This was our third visit to the Fisherman's Cot and the first time for an overnight stay. There is a good selection of food at reasonable prices and very good breakfast. Staff were friendly and polite. We stayed in an annex which was OK but the outside fabric of the building is in need of renovation. Room was fine and clean, although bath panel was heavily water damaged. There is scope to improve decor (pictures on the wall for example) to give a more homely feel"

"Very tasteful selections for breakfast with an elegant presentation— history abounds in this small inn- lovely!🇨🇦"

"This is the second time I have stayed there in last couple of mths, lovely suite we stayed in, lovely pub and good breakfast. Will definitely stay there again."

"A nice place to stay with family. Kids loved the place."

"Rustic setting but not remote, excellent food, lovely staff,"

"Great staff Fabulous breakfast Clean room"

"Comfortable accommodation in an interesting historic property"

"Clean and tidy. Bedroom smelt like someone had smoked in there before me. Parking good. No staff (which was advertised to be fair and the codes worked!). No hot water for the morning shower and no one to alert. Overall, average but ok for a place to sleep for the night."

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"Lovely comfortable room and excellent staff. We really liked the food- dinner and breakfast were spot on."
