"our room was nice enough, we paid for an upgraded room with a separate living room. It was nice and spacious as was the bathroom. The problem is mainly for dinner service they don't have enough staff. All we tried to do was get a pizza and it took an inordinate amount of time and we were really tired and hungry, eventually finally getting our pizza at about 940, eating at by 10 and going straight to bed afterward, which wasn't an enjoyable experience. they would only let you order à la carte pizza after dinner service any instance that you didn't want to do the full dinner and the restaurant - so after 8:30. I called and nobody answered, so I left a message to order pizza at 8:30. Nobody got the message so we had to walk over to the lobby and order it in the restaurant, and then we waited a very long time. It was not enjoyable. For breakfast the next morning, a lot of things were already gone from the buffet - they had a hard time keeping things replenished. (Much worse than the hotel that we had stayed at the night before for the same price, which also had a separate living room and bedroom/bathroom and was in a larger town and where the breakfast was plentiful, well-stocked and not picked over like this breakfast was.) The grounds are nice and the lake is beautiful and it's very calm and relaxing, but I wouldn't stay there again because I didn't feel like the value for my money was worth it, and it wasn't a luxurious experience because of the service level."

"Major shower problem on day 1. Reported it straightaway: they kept saying it was solved but it wasn't. Only on the last night (stayed 4 nights!) did they say it was probably a building problem. Offered to let us have a shower in another room. Complaint and request for a discount resulted in a measly 20 Euros discount per night. V poor service an response: shame as it is a nice hotel."

"The Location is Beautiful! The houses themselves are okay! The upper levels need an upgrade, since they have old carpets etc. They were ok clean! The food in the restaurant was great! Staff is nice! "

"Would have been perfect if not for the strong smell of sewerage emitting from our bathroom. Luckilly we were able to close the door and open the windows to the bedroom so that we could sleep. We brought the smell to the attention of the person checking everyone out however she didn't seem to understand what we were saying... mostly becausd of the language barrier. Aside from that the place was beautiful and the meal in the restaurant was wonderful. Location is also perfect for spending a day too exploring. We would stay again provided the smell is gone. "
