The Guest House at Graceland

"From front to back,top to bottom the Guesthouse Hotel was absolutely amazing. The beauty of it all and the extravagant decorations just simply reminds you of Graceland. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They treated everyone like they were royalty, no nicer staff anywhere that I've been. The rooms were very beautiful, beds comfortable and very clean wall to wall. Free Elvis movies in a full size theater at 7pm, then at 9pm free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with chocolate milk. Two restaurants inside the hotel, one was the E.P. restaurant which was amazing and the other was the Delta(Elvis's aunt) which was very elegant and who knew food could taste that good. The pool was beautiful and huge, very inviting and the garden walkways to get to everything were beautiful and lined with path lighting. As far as we are concerned there isn't anywhere else to stay in Memphis except Graceland Guesthouse from now on when we travel."

"Eww! The first room we were assigned appeared to have used dirty linens on one of the beds. Room look as if had not been cleaned in a while. Crumbs and dust on desk and floor. Phone was unplugged so we had to reconnect. Dust bunnies everywhere! The front desk did get us another room. The second room we were assigned did appear to have clean linens. Shower head looked to be deteriorating. Room (and entire hotel) needs a good deep clean. Pool has rust spots in it and needs to be brushed. Breakfast was ok. We do they had a few more options for people with dietary restrictions and allergies. Staff did not open breakfast until after 6 am and still were bringing items out. Staff gave us a difficult time and questioned why we were requesting additional bath linens. Staff overall seemed very bothered with having to handle customer questions and concerns. We overheard from the hallway a night staff saying that they would not do things because “it’s not my job”. This is not the type of experience that we expected from a hotel charging over $120 a night."

"The property needs to be closed down it is filthy and stinky and the management is the worst of the worst I don't even know how it's operating as a business, holes in the sheets, cigarette burns on the furniture. No refund signs on everything. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone other than the Better Business Bureau to have it closed DOWN!"

"Room was very nice and staff extremely friendly. Casino well maintained. Was disappointed in restaurant system. Felt like a fast food restaurant. Had to look at 4 different menus up on a wall to decide what we wanted, then order your meal and pay before going to the dining area. The food was prepared and brought to the table. The waitress was very nice and helpful. Really missed the diner."
