"Staff were very helpful when I first arrived. My schedule changed and I arrived three or four hours before I was due to check in and they found me a room and allowed me to go up to it early. Very helpful and saved me a few hours wandering around in the rain! I am very grateful."

"The hotel was comfortable and centrally located. The staff were friendly and helpful and proximity to the Winter Gardens was a big plus. However, this hotel has a number of problems relating to access. When we arrived by taxi from the station there was no obvious way into the hotel and no signage to help, a real problem for someone with mobility problems. Also, given that the ground floor overlooks the Winter Gardens it is both frustrating and totally absurd that access to the Gardens is blocked from the hotel. Surely a system involving key cards or a code could be devised that would afford both access and security. It is something that takes away from the attraction of staying at the hotel - a definite negative."

"We've stayed here before. The staff are efficient, helpful and very friendly. Rooms are good, clean with extra facilities like tea tray. Breakfast was excellent. Bar busy but staff were very good."

"Our room was comfortable and clean. Yhe carpets are a bit dated.Also, the windows of two cars got smashed, so not sure if it is a safe place to leave your car."
