"This was the second time we stayed at Boulder Brook -- the first being on our honeymoon 29 years ago. It did not disappoint! It is quiet, romantic, relaxing -- everything I wanted in my vacation. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was how clean everything smelled. The accommodations are light, bright, clean, and very comfortable, with all the modern conveniences. It was so nice being able to step out onto our back patio, surrounded by mountains, towering trees, and the wonderful sound of Fall River passing by not 30 feet from the back door. It is close enough to restaurants and shopping to make it a great home base; but also secluded enough to make it a safe haven from the tourist scene. Boulder Brook continues to hold a special place in our hearts, and we hope to return again soon.
Our only suggestion to make it even better would be some way to keep the early morning light from waking us up too early. We solved that by purchasing sleep masks, which did the trick. A minor suggestion for an issue that did not keep us from enjoying our trip."
