"The staff was friendly and helpful. It was very warm outside and they gave me water right away. When the coffee pot was empty the waitress in the restaurant happily filled my cup. I love the location of this hotel. It's walkable and close to many things. The only issue I had was that my heater was so noisy that it kept me up. "

"I checked in late and exhausted. The staff member that checked me in was super friendly and kind. He asked my preference for floor and near or away from the elevator. The location of this hotel is very convenient for visiting my children at Pitt and CMU. "

"Great location - walkable to nice restaurants in Shadyside. Didn't ramp up prices during graduation/marathon weekend like most other hotels in Pittsburgh. Clean. Polite staff. Lots of character."

"Not enough outlets in the room. Bed was on the floor pretty much. Room was very small. There was a weird smell in the room. I wouldn't trust the public parking out back."

"Room was clean. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was basic. Parking was in the city garage with first 3 hours free but overnight $16. Overall good place with some shopping and restaurants, and ice cream places nearby."

"Room was run down/old. Shower head was coming out of the wall and couldnt get the water hot. The phone in the room was making a loud buzzing noise so I just disconnected the cord. Rest of venue and area was super.l, staff was friendly. Room was clean. Easy access.to a late.checkout that was needed."
