After searching for a place on Google and Hotels.com, we found Hotel IX and after our stay in the Runstraat Suite we have no hesitation in recommending it. The accommodation is great, the location is perfect and the overall experience was seamless. Our room had a huge photo of the Runsraat streetscape, and we went and checked it out in person and recreated the photo, which is a cool little touch."

Perfectly quirky, full of art in every space with a restaurant and bar, and several reading rooms. Our room was comfortable and well-designed for a small space. Bathroom was large though and included towel heaters. I’d recommend and stay here again. It’s truly lovely. "

"Looking out our hotel window at the canal every morning was a treat! The location was perfect right in the Nine Street area. The rooms were clean, although a bit on the smalll side. The breakfast had many options, but we chose to eat out most days. The Stroopwaffle shop down the street was an added plus! "

"This hotel was lovely. We traveled with a 10 month old and they were kind to give us a room in the top floor so we had quiet away from the road noise. There are stairs (as this is common with architecture in AMS). The staff was attentive, kind and accomodative. The location of the hotel was great as well, walking distance to the lovely Jordaan neighbourhood and accessible to Trams. "

Staff were all very friendly and helpful, they would even send your postcard for free! The hotel was really quiet even it’s at such a central location. Really impressed with our stay. The only down side is that there are a few steps at the entrance and the lift is a bit small but very good value!"
