"The Columbia Gorge Hotel is very special because of the building itself and the spectacular location overlooking the Columbia Gorge. The grounds are amazing - reflective of the northwest esthetic, gardens, trees, and a creek leading to a spectacular waterfall. The building is beautiful, well preserved, honoring the time period from which it originated, but still maintained in good order. Very clean and comfortable in every way."

"First time in the River Hood area, we enjoyed our stay at the Villas, right off the freeway very convenient and close to town. The staff was friendly and very courteous, definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area."
