"Couldn't fault this hotel. Needed somewhere to stay for a 4 night break in Amsterdam. The area is quiet but only 2 stops on the Metro from Centraal. Hotel almost next door to the station. Everything very modern. Room very comfortable with a good shower. Breakfast had everything that you need."

"Our stay was great. We really appreciated the location. Central to all that we were doing during our stay. Although we hadn't chosen the breakfast option at the time of booking we were able to add that on which was very helpful. Great breakfast buffet. Very Dutch! :)"

"Housekeeping was slow to make the rooms, sometimes we would come from being in the city all day, say 6pm and the room was not ready. We would usually leave the room around 10 to 11am. Sometimes towels were missing and we needed to go out on the floor searching for HK to help. The Staff is friendly and very professional. The location of the property is excellent, near bars and great restaurants."

"Even though it wasn’t a traditional check in, the online process was easy. The staff that were present were also helpful and easy to reach. The room and bathroom was clean, and the bed was extremely comfy! I would stay at poppies again."

"Great stay at Ruby Amsterdam. Close to public transport for easy access into the city, comfy bed, decent amenities, good WiFi and plenty of storage. Loved the layout of the room and bathroom. My only gripe was the lack of a decent coffee machine in the room. For the price point and the star rating I would hope they could afford something other than instant! The only other point to note is they don’t take cash in the hotel. This also seems to be a thing now in the city…lots of restaurants and bars were also cashless."

"Convenient location, helpful staff. The room was bigger than I thought which was nice. The 24 Wondermarket was a disappointment. There were only drinks, no snacks. The way is was advertised was not at all how it was in reality. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel."
