"This was our second visit, and it didn’t fail to impress. On this occasion we stayed over Christmas, and the hotel was decorated fabulously. We had a castle feature room which was lovely. We also ate in the restaurant for dinner, which again was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were all polite and professional, always chatty with a smile on their faces! Would definitely recommend."

Breakfast amazing and staff were wonderful couldnt ask for any thing better would highly recommend 👌. Location was excellent too. When working away again would definitely stay again. "Did not have breakfast we were up and away early Bed was comfy, used a local pub for food at night 5 mins walk, The Sportsman."

"Felt as if the cottage needed a really good clean,there was a lot of black mould in the bathroom,it needs an extracter fan the,the shower had no pressure and the lights had a motion sensor so kept going out.Bins haven't been emptied and are overflowing. We had to fix the front door because it wouldn't lock. For £30 a night it was okay but i wouldn't rush back. Sorry"
