"Appreciate the assistance and service received from Ms. Lynn (Commercial Director) during check-in and referral to excellent Indian restaurant (Diya) near the hotel."
"Beautiful property within the ancient walls of Xi’an. Especially excellent for the price point.
Loved how clean and functional the property was including free soup delivered by robot.
Especially loved the above and beyond service of Anna when she helped us with our luggage to the car on check out whilst providing some insightful of the beaten track tips for exploring our next destination of Chongqing. Her genuine happiness was infectious and filled us with a smile for the whole day - thank you :)"
"We arrived at the Renaissance Xi'an Hotel without particularly high expectations, but the hotel exceeded them in every way. We had a truly enjoyable stay.
One of the highlights was the Executive Lounge. The evening offerings included an excellent variety of high-quality food, making it one of the better hotel lounges we have experienced. Breakfast was also outstanding, with a wide selection of choices and excellent service.
The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We were traveling with my 89-year-old father-in-law, and as soon as we arrived, the team immediately provided a wheelchair without us having to ask, which made a tremendous difference and demonstrated their commitment to guest care.
The hotel itself is modern and fun, with several service robots that deliver items to guest rooms, adding a unique touch to the experience. Our room was comfortable, offered a nice view, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—especially appreciated during the summer heat. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
On our departure day, the hotel securely stored our luggage while we spent the day exploring Xi'an. They also graciously extended our checkout until 3:00 PM, which was incredibly helpful and much appreciated.
Overall, we had an excellent experience. Between the outstanding lounge, attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and thoughtful service, the Renaissance Xi'an Hotel made our visit memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly"
"I purposely chose this place as a closer hotel location rather than staying near the bell tower to be closer distance drive to the terracotta warriors and it was the best hotel I booked through my whole stay in China. Robin was my concierge who provided great communication throughout my stay there. He helped arrange transportation pick up from train station to hotel and back. During my stay he also provided recommendations around the hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious and hotel was clean. The red room which I had hotel room at thanks to Expedia was super exclusive to included happy hour that the tapas style food and drinks left us full."
"The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent variety of delicious options. The hotel's location is also a major advantage, with the Muslim Quarter and the Bell and Drum Towers all within easy walking distance.
The only disappointment was that the airport pickup service was not accurately described. Our original flight was canceled, so we didn't arrive until after midnight. I emailed the hotel three times over the two days before our arrival to request an airport pickup but never received a response. When I finally called, I was informed that the hotel only provides airport pickup until 9:00 p.m., not 24 hours as advertised. The staff did try to help by connecting me with a third-party transportation service, but it required upfront payment, so we ultimately took a taxi from the airport instead.
Despite this issue, we had a pleasant stay overall, and the room, breakfast, and convenient location made it a great choice."
"Our room at the Sofitel was huge! With a great big comfortable bed, our own sitting area and dressing room, we were very impressed when we arrived.
Ethan at the concierge really made our stay, helping us with our bags, our first DiDi and generally making us feel welcome and safe. The lovely man who we think was a Manager took us across to the ATM and assisted us, we were very grateful to him. Breakfast was delicious and the pool a godsend, we would not hesitate to recommend the Sofitel and will definitely stay there again."
