The hotel was in an excellent location close to everything we wanted to see. Our room was clean and spacious, which we really appreciated. The only downside was the parking. Charging over $60 overnight to park in a lot just 10 feet from the hotel felt excessive, especially since there were no other overnight options available.

Stefon was super helpful at the front desk! I really loved how many options there were for breakfast, too. I usually skip the free breakfast because it's all pork products and powder eggs, but they had a great deal of alternatives. They even had a pancake maker and it was soooo good dare I say better than the waffles! I'll definitely stay here again. The golf cart service to downtown was also very good! I really appreciated that.

Great experience. Great service from the staff and breakfast was a plus. We chose to park across the street in the public parking garage. This was a cheaper option and still felt very secure. The valet at the hotel also do a great job of keeping the property safe since it is down town Houston. Would stay again.

Expedia listing said “parking available”. It wasn’t clear until I showed up that parking cost an additional $58 per day. That would have influenced me to stay at a different hotel that didn’t have parking costs. Hotel is relatively new with a lot of cool features like lighting on the stairs. However, there was no bathroom fan controller despite appearing to have a bathroom fan. So very muggy after a shower. Seems like a critical oversight.

Dear Expedia Customer Support, I'm reaching out regarding a recent hotel stay I booked through your platform, which was extremely disappointing and warrants a full refund in addition to a correction of an overcharge for valet parking. Booking details: Hotel Name: Home2 Suites Location: 1540 Leeland St. Houston TX Check-in/Check-out Dates: 4/26-4/28 Expedia Itinerary/Booking Number: 737077162824418 Issues encountered during the stay: I was charged for two nights of valet when I only used the service for one night. This resulted in an overcharge of $58, which I am requesting be refunded immediately. The room had no hot water, which is a basic necessity. The “hot breakfast” advertised was misleading — I witnessed staff placing frozen French toast directly into a hot box, with no freshly prepared options. The television in the initial room did not work, prompting a room change. During the process of retrieving a new room key, the elevators completely shut down. With a knee injury, I was physically unable to access the room on the 9th floor or reach my children, who were also in the room. The hotel’s website stated a 3:00 PM check-in time, which was inaccurate and added to the confusion. As a result of these compounded failures, I was two hours late to a professional speaking engagement I had flown in from Florida to attend — a major disruption with real consequences.
