Tha staff its amazing! They were really nice and helpful, and they took the time to help me and explain me things about the city. The beds are really good too! I definitely recommend this place

You get what you pay for

It was fine, not great, but not bad either. In my dorm the bunkbeds were in the three, and I had the top number three. The locker where one can put valuables in didn't work, and I heard that some other girls got stolen some cash in their private room. It was close to town which was great, and the free breakfast was fine.

Loved it

I loved my four days/four nights stay at Amy 2 Hostel (by my own fault I only booked it three nights online). The place is brand new and it shows. Beds are comfortable, air con is good plus there's a fan and the shower's water pressure is amazing. There's also a huge breakfast menu! If you sit at the bar you'll most likely be able to enjoy the sight of cats lying on the shed across the alley enjoying some sunshine. Only downside is that the building is incredibly loud, you can literally hear everything above normal speaking volume. Despite the very central location you can't hear anything from outside, since it's down a small alley. Many things are within walking distance and during weekends the neighbouring streets are closed off for vehicles and is full of pedestrians, live music and theatre. I spent many hours in the reception area talking with the reception staff who all master a high level of English, specially Mouse who I'm sure is going to be an excellent English teacher when she's done with school. :-) If I come back to Huế, I would most likely book this place again.
