Was only in Hue for one night but I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was nice and clean. The older couple that runs the place are the most lovely people. Was also offered a fruit platter and tea/coffee on arrival. Highly recommend.

Staff were super friendly and accomodating. Great english. When arrived after getting settled in they sat down with us with a map to explain the tourists spots which was very helpful. The DMZ tour and bus to hoi an / da nang organised through the hotel were great experiences. Location is quiet but located next to a great walking district lots of bars and restraunts.

Excellent hotel. They gave me welcome drink and tropical fruits when the reception and all the room & facilities are very clean. They also kindly placed train booking for me. Best visit this hotel.

Decent hotel
Had some issues with the air conditioning so I spent the first night at a neighboring property... overall staff was attentive and friendly... the room was nothing special, but totally did the job for the price... the hotel is in an alley, so it is quiet a night

Great stay in a great Location
We had a lovely stay, drinks on arrival and a super helpful welcome with information on Hue and the mini bus that we ended up booking down to Hoi An. We got a lovely, huge room with big bed and tv and fridge and decent shower. Only improvement would be a slightly larger quilt. Breakfast was yummy!

Booked only One night because we were not sure how the hotel was. Once we checked in we booked another night because we think it is clean hotel. First night got 2 single beds and a double bed. Second night moved to a double bed which was still very clean. Hotel is located off street the main road but shops, bars and restaurants are are around. Breakfast was cooked to order. Staffs are friendly. Condition of the hotel was new and clean. Value for money.

The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. He goes above and beyond. Our flight was early and he offered us breakfast an hour earlier than their regular breakfast time. It's a cute family run business. There's a lady there that talks really loudly on the phone when we were waiting in the lobby. She was screaming at someone I think. It happened more than once which made me feel uncomfortable. Overall the hotel is a good option and the staff is friendly. I would definitely come back.

Great location, staff was wonderful and helpful. Beds were ok,wifi worked great in lobby, but was not very good in the rooms. Sometimes it would work, but most times it didn’t or was intermittent. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff made up for lack of that though.

The Nicest Staff
Hong Thien Ruby Hotel is perfectly situated in the old town but also close enough to walk to the Imperial City and the River However, what really makes this hotel are the lovely staff. They couldn’t do enough for us. Showing us where to visit during our brief stay and sorting transport to the airport the next day. Thank you so much.

The best choice you could make!
From the minute we arrived the hotel staff were delightful and welcoming. They got us maps of the town and made recommendations on what to do/see. Hidden Gem
We had an amazing stay - the owners and staff are top notch and really made us feel looked after. Breakfast was great as well, and the WiFi was fast. We would definitely recommend staying here, we certainly will be if we're ever in Hue again!

Perfect stay with amazing staff and service
The staff and service at this hotel is impeccable. The staff have amazing English, happy to help in any way and are just so lovely to chat to. Welcome drinks and fruit on arrival was great after a long trip and the rooms are clean and comfortable with a great shower. Location is right next to all the bars and restaurants. Other than the Imperial City which is about 30 minutes walk from the hotel, there isn't much else to see in Hue. I bought a lovely dress from Grace's Garment which they altered within a day to fit me properly! Laundry service was fab, 30k dong per kg and all done by the end of the day. Breakfast - unlimited amounts of food and drink all made fresh. You really can't complain about the price of this hotel with everything it has to offer. The reviews say it all! Thank you for your amazing hospitality!!

This hotel is a gem!
This hotel was perfect for my stay in Hue. The front desk goes out of their way to make guests feel welcome. I was given fresh juice and a fruit plate upon arrival. The room was huge and the decor was beautiful. The location was off the main street so it was also quiet at night. I would absolutely stay here again!

Incredible value and as nice a hotel in its category as you will find anywhere. Friendly staff make you feel more like a personal guest than a hotel customer. The home-cooked breakfast is copious and delicious and the room is bright, clean and pleasant. Do not be put off that the property is at the end of a small alleyway because it gives you a buffer of tranquility in a neighborhood teeming with vitality, with great restaurants and shops.

Overall good stay! We were greeted with juice and fresh fruit when we arrived and told we were upgraded to a family suite which was very nice. The location is great, close to restaurants and the river. Everyone at the hotel is very sweet and the breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of options! The only negatives were that the hot water ran out a little quickly and the van service we booked to Hoi An was not quite as the man at the front had advertised. We were told it was a van with no stops that would take around 2/2.5 hours and we would be picked up at 3 and dropped off at our hotel. In reality we weren’t picked up til 3:45, then stopped in Danang and finally dropped off at 9 pm at the city center, not our hotel. It was also a bit overcrowded so my boyfriend did not get an actual seat. Not sure if this all of the services but this was just our experience. Overall good stay at the hotel maybe just be clear about what you want when booking services!

Basic hotel in a great location, very clean and with a friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is close to main street with tons of restaurants and bars yet quiet as it is at the end of an alley. Note that the are 3 rooms per floor. The middle room (x02) is an internal room with no view but with a tiny window to the hallway. The other 2 rooms are at the front or the back and have normal windows.

Great hotel. Our hotel was cancelled and we missed a night. There is a zero cancellation policy which we knew, but they upgraded our room free of charge and checked us in straight away once we did arrive. Staff were lovely and we had a really large room. Very pleasant stay!
