It was a great stay for me and my husband. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hosts Julie and Peter were very friendly and extremely helpful. Julie had provided very good tips to us for our trip and were very accommodating. The place was also near to eateries.

Mr and Mrs Hale were nice and accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The only issue we had is that their lodge is located in Scone, in the Upper Hunter Valley, and it is quite far (1hr20min drive) from the vineyards and hot air balloon centers near Cessnok. For that reason, we had to shorten our stay at Strathearn Lodge and book a night near Cessnok instead.

Room was very spacious for 3 adults. Even with the sofa bed expanded there was walking space. Lots of amenities included in the room and able to cook meals.

Stayed at the Hermitage Lodge with 2 Adults and 2 Children. The stay was very pleasant and peaceful. Perfect for a recharge. Parking available right outside the unit and the continental breakfast was fair. Overall, a great stay and would come back again when I return to Hunter Valley.
Do try the Italian restaurant onsite too, the food there was delicious.
