I enjoyed the stay at this property as it is a short walk to the Plaza de Armas and an even shorter walk to a shopping mall. The entrance to the property is a single doorway on a busy one way street which you might not see if you aren't paying attention because there is no signage. However, there are larger doors for parking vehicles. The management was very helpful in allowing to store my baggage while I was out for the day on a tour, even after having checked out. While the property is quite safe on the inside, I will caution to do your shopping and dining by early evening as the surrounding neighborhood shuts down and all storefronts lock up. This makes the neighborhood feel abandoned and unsafe when compared to wealthier districts in Lima and Cusco.

This place is definitely a HIDDEN gem. The front part probably scares you, but when you get inside, it will gladly impress you. It is small, but everything is new, clean, organized and charming. 10’ away from the bus station and 15’ away from La Huacachina (the main attraction). Breakfast is simple, but fresh 🙌

La experiencia fue espectacular. Yo no estuve presente pero no puedo describir con suficientes palabras la felicidad que fue para mis padres estar por ahi. Les encantó el lugar, la cercanía a todos los lugares cercanos y populares de la zona, la comida cercana y por sobre todo la atención. Realmente quedaron muy satisfechos con todo. ¡Muchas gracias!

HORRIBLE!!! NO LO RECOMIENDO!!! Es nuestra PEOR EXPERIENCIA en ese Hotel, el servicio es PÉSIMO! Cuando mi familia se retiraba nos trataron de culpar de robo !! Son una personas incapaces de dar un buen servcio! NUNCA MAS con el Huerto Hostel!! NO LO RECOMIENDO PARA NADA!!! Expedía debe retirarlo de su lista porque ese Hostel maltrata a a los huespedes

Der gemütliche Innenhof vom Hostel war wie eine kleine Oase in der lebendigen Stadt von Ica. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Angestellten sehr zuvorkommend.

Una buena opción para una estancia en Ica
Cuenta con un jardín agradable y camas comodísimas. Está en el centro, relativamente cerca de la Plaza de Armas, y pudimos ir andando desde la estación de autobuses al llegar a la ciudad. La recepción fue muy bien y el trato muy agradable y correcto y cada momento, con buenos consejos sobre dónde comer y cómo moverse por la zona. Como puntos negativos podríamos mencionar el ruido que llegaba de otras habitaciones y la baja presión del agua en la ducha, pero no nos impediría volver a reservar en El Huerto la próxima vez que vayamos a Ica.

Os hoteis em geral costumam começar em entradas mais estreitas, e o interior surpreende com um lindo pátio. Foi isso que aconteceu no El Huerto Hostel. O jardim no interior impressiona, e tomar café ali é muito gostoso. O café da manhã servido tinha: pães, ovos mexidos, geléia e manteiga, suco de frutas muito delicioso e café. No quarto, achei a cama muito confortável e pronta para uma noite de frio. O único ponto fraco foi o chuveiro que não funcionou muito bem. A água não era constante. Não que tenha feito a estadia ser ruim, mas acho válido mencionar. Eu voltaria a este hotel.

El hotel está a 5 km del oasis aproximadamente 10 min en taxi ya que si hay tráfico . El personal del hotel son super amables y ocupas algo ellos ayudan todo el tiempo , incluso si tú salida es más temprano te apoyan con el desayuno. El hostel no tiene restaurante para comida o cena pero a 4 cuadras saliendo a la derecha encontrarás un centro comercial y algunos restaurantes.

Estadia estuvo acorde y familiar
La recepción y aclaratoria de preguntas por whatsapp fueron estupendas, paciencia y cordialidad. El Hostel es bonito, limpio y no se siente ruidos molestos de la calle, perfecto para familias. Punto a tomar en cuenta si vas con adultos mayores es importante pedir habitaciones en primer piso por las escaleras son empinadas. El costo del desayuno es de 12 soles, no lo probamos pero puedo recomendarles que cerca hay lugar más economicos y familiares. El estacionamiento no esta incluido y pagamos uno a 2 cuadras 15 soles la noche, tomen eso en cuenta aunque te digan que te dan 1 espacio en cochera ( eso la verdad no nos gustó mucho tal vez entendimos mal, pero basicamente tuvimos que pagar cochera) Esta cerca de un centro comercial, asi que en la noche si desean pueden salir a pasear alli, en los alrededores no es bonito. Asi que no lo recomiendo. Les pedi que no entraran a mi habitacion por el covid , preferi limpiarlo y desinfectarlo al lleguar. LES RECOMIENDO HACER ESO. Aunque es limpio desinfectarlo de covid para mi era primordial por mi familia. No todo el mundo se cuida y el calor es fuerte y con tapabocas, imaginenese. Es solo una recomendación Conclusión, lo recomiendo, es comodo, limpio y sin ruidos. Perdectos para familias.
