"Beautiful hotel."

"Modern clean hotel and a lovely breakfast, great location also"

"Stained carpets and walls. Toilet bleached but poo still at the bottom. Damp bubbling paint on the window wall, windows missing locks/out style so drafty. General new paint job required - window white varnish flaked off revealing wood timbers, gloss paint also on the window panes. 1 of 2 lifts were out of order and the working lift was single occupancy. The view of the pier was very good from the room. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special, would be improved with a coffee machine offering more options not just black filter coffee which milk can be added to, also only one hot drinks table so service was slow due to queueing."

"Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, the room was clean, we were pleased with the heating, and the price was reasonable. However, we were disappointed to find that the room we were allocated did not correspond with the one advertised online. The photographs showed a room with large panoramic windows, yet the room we received had only two small windows, which was particularly disappointing as the window feature was a key factor in our decision to book this hotel. We also noted that the room did not include a hairdryer, which caused some inconvenience."

"Room basic but very clean. Had a wonderful sea view but as the hotel is on the seafront it can be quite noisy from the road traffic. There is no reception as such, you have to phone a number and a member of staff appears and takes you up to your room. There is also no housekeeping at all, not even your bin emptied. Be aware although the hotel says it gives you the £2 a day parking when I asked for one I was told they didn’t have any so it cost us £9.95 a day to park our car. Annoying as this is one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Overall though for the price we paid for the room we were happy with what we got. Hotel across from the beach and only a short walk into town which is a bonus. "

"This was a really disappointing day. We found the rooms were not very clean very dusty dirty corridors the whole hotel is dated. The problem is the cleanliness. When we had breakfast, the plates were not clean. The whole pool area was dirty. The toilet et cetera were not very nice. Wi-Fi was okay. Breakfast wasn’t great. The milk had gone off in the large container and I told them it had gone off and it took about 20 minutes for them to replace. For a four star hotel, it wasn’t a nice experience. The Jacuzzi was also broken. It was my husband‘s birthday. I put that in the notes I also told staff and they didn’t even bother to wish him happy birthday. "

"Didn’t have breakfast. Staff were very good but far too overworked for the size of the place and guests. The hotel felt like the marycelest "

"The staff were lovely, especially the receptionist, she was lovely and helpful, very friendly. The hotel need a bit of TLC, our room was very basic and stained carpets and the radiator hasn’t been dusted in a very long time!! Brilliant to have parking and right opposite the band stand which was great to listen and watch from our room! "
