"Good value in comparison to the hotel we usually stay in in Cheltenham. Good sized rooms and excellent facilities.
Only draw back is a lot of communication is via a central call centre rather than a reception."

"Very clean, we had a small double room which was fine for a couple of nights, very modern and location was perfect. Would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water the local coop shuts on a Sunday at 4 so there is nowhere to buy water apart from the pubs. Would definitely stay again."

"Squirrel Barn was fantastic, we were two couples so great to have two bathrooms. We had everything we needed and wished we were staying longer. So quiet too which was lovely. "

"Good parking spaces behind the property, very clear information about finding the property. The apartment was spacious, very clean, lovely decor and very comfortable. We got some advice on where to find a nice local pub, and ate in the centre close to the property. Overall absolutely lovely."

"Great stay. Thank you to Joy for her help and making such a great overnight stay for my fiancés 30th bday. Photos did not do the property justice it was so spacious including the ground floor balcony. We will be coming back and can’t wait. The food was great and so was the breakfast & pancakes!! The suites need more photos of the outside and the whole property could do with more signage it’s easy to get lost there are some signs but they’re not clear so we got lost a few times. If you’re...

"Beautiful location on the outskirts of Bourton on the Water. Within easy walking distance of the centre. Totally dog friendly. Excellent and plentiful provisions for breakfast. Everything you would want when away. Definitely would go again."

"Very thoughtfully prepared cozy space. We enjoyed staying there with our two daughters. The o communication was excellent and check in and out very seamless. Location is superb if desiring to stay in Burton in the water. Beautiful, quaint town. Only complaint was lack of cooling. Luckily able to cool off at night with windows open. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"This cottage was beautiful, well equipped with everything we needed. On Main Street steps to all amenities. Parking was at front door, it was very busy while we were there so we were lucky to get the park we did, in saying this we did not need the car because we could walk to everything.
Hopefully we will be back in this beautiful town for Xmas one year."

"The hotel is dated in places but they do seem to be doing upgrades. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. The room did get a little hot at night so the fan provided was useful. The staff were amazing I cannot fault them in any way"
"Queens is a lovely hotel, we used to stay at 131 but got fed up with the noise from below. Old school traditional hotel ideal location for town. As far as we are concerned it ticks all the boxes. We didn’t get the opportunity to eat there but I’m sure we will on our next visit. Joe on reception was very informative and friendly."
"Wonderful hotel within easy walking distance to the heart of Cheltenham.
Every single staff member is a credit to the hotel, so friendly and helpful!
Highly recommend and will definitely return"
"All the service was really good.
Our room was number 25 and it was really quiet.
Continental breakfast was really good, but the only issue with the pastry was that it didn't have any vegan option."
"The grounds are stunning but the hotel itself is looking a bit tatty.
We were given an accessible room, which didn’t seem that accessible to me! The plug sockets by the bed are not normal uk plugs. So you can’t plug a charger in (for me, I couldn’t plug my breathing machine in)
The tv was on the wall, but had plastic covers over the wires which just looks messy.
The furniture was a bit dated but fine.
The bathroom, although it’s supposed to be accessible I think it was hard work. The sliding door was heavy to open and close. The shower area had accessible fittings but they were all rusty. The floor of the shower hasn’t been done very well and is not tilted enough for the water to drain. This meant that after showering, the water traveled right over to where the toilet was in a big puddle. We had to use towels to mop it up so that we could use the loo in the night without wellies!
I got several messages after booking to upsell the spa facilities… however on arrival half of the spa area wasn’t even working! A large hot tub, a steam room and heated beds were all off. The grout on the other hot tub was dirty and in parts had fallen out or not been done in the first place. It all needs a really deep clean and the grout re doing. The pool was a good size, but cold!
The spa could be absolutely gorgeous if they upped the spec a bit and they’d certainly be able to charge more.
Breakfast was very good, not a buffet but specific choices more like a restaurant."
