"Shigira resort is set along the coastline and there is a free shuttle to and from the airport and between different hotels and restaurants within the resort. A car is needed to explore other parts of Miyako as public transport is non existent but there are beaches and a golf course within the resort. Organised tours offer pick up from the hotel."

"If you came to snorkel, you found the right place. It has the best off beach snorkeling I have seen and I have traveled to Australia and Palawan. Its pristine all over the island but right in front here is a hidden gem. The staff is amazing. They are very warm and friendly and do everything to make the stay pleasurable. The bus takes you to the other resorts which is so helpful for dining. I loved it here. It’s not a stuffy marble hotel. It’s great for families because of the room sizes."
