"This was my first time in Ilhabela and I’m grateful I chose to stay here! The staff were so amazing the minute I checked in and recommended so many great beaches and restaurants. The room was extremely clean and just like the pictures. The view from the pool over looking the beach and mountains is magical. You’re close to everything and can walk to restaurants and beach. I love to run so if you do to I’d recommend a run during the day or at night . I will definitely stay here again!"

"We had an excellent time here, I can say almost everything was perfect. The customer service here was perfect. Alex was the guy that helped me out most of the time and I can say he was the most helpful guy I have ever met and he even helped me plan out the perfect proposal to ask my partner to be my girlfriend, because of the way Alex treated us we will for sure comeback soon and we will recommend this hotel to everyone when visiting the island. "We traveled with a three year old, and booked a superior room for some space and comfort. The room was the size of a small ordinary room with a tiny bathroom. Also, the breakfast was tasteless served in an extremely hot space. Highly overpriced place with backpacker standard. The location is sentral, close to the ferry and the “newer” center with many restaurants, but noisy and not any island charm. "

"Atendimento nota 10, mas a pousada precisa melhorar o sistema de café da manhã, é com hora marcada e mesmo assim faltou pão de forma (só tinha 1 para eu e esposa) foram comprar na padaria e ficamos esperando, no dia seguinte acabou o café, esperamos fazer mais e veio super fraco (acho q acabou o pó) muito chato ter que ficar pedindo comida já inclusa no preço... não gosto de desperdício, mas a ponto de não ter pão e café na hora já é demais....outro detalhe, acho q poderiam colocar tela nos...

"A pousada é maravilhosa, fica muito bem localizada, apenas 5 minutos do centro e bem próxima das praias do Sino, Armação, etc. Eles fornecem cadeiras de praia. O quarto é bem confortável, camas excelentes, conta com um micro-ondas e frigobar. A propriedade é fantástica, uma fazenda muito grande, muito verde pra quem tem bebê como nós, foi bem agradável. O ponto alto foi o café da manhã, muito diferenciado. Qualidade e atendimento impecável."

"The pools fed by the waterfall made Hotel Mercedes stand out from anywhere else. Be aware that bad weather can effect the use. There was torrential rains while we were there, the pools had to be emptied and cleaned, but the couple days being able to use it were worth it. There is some snorkeling under and beside the dock. Visibility is poor. Don't make snorkeling the reason you come. Staff was very pleasant , especially the front desk. "
