"Checkin was seamless. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Course we were exhausted after a day of travel. Exterior of the buildings and sorrunding need updated; not much to look at but not that important. Back door was propped open so security was very lax. You had to go out the pool area to get any ice."

"We spent a night at Field Station Joshua Tree as a part of a longer road trip through California. We really enjoyed our time here. The front desk was quick to check us into our room. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The pool was clean and there were plenty of towels available for use. Our beds were comfortable. There is a QR code to purchase items from the room online. We wish there would have been an option to purchase the platform bed frame. The bath is small but sufficient with good water pressure. We enjoyed coffee from the hotel lobby cafe in the morning of our stay and enjoyed a stroll through the commons areas to look at the cactus, firepit, etc. We hope this hotel expands its footprint throughout the US. "

"The location is great if your main purpose is visiting Joshua Tree National Park like us. The motel is a tad outdated but clean, beds comfortable, refreshing pool and plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Good size fridge in the room for storage. Attentive front desk."
